Open Enrollment starts on November 15th and many of our clients are concerned about what will happen to their current health insurance policy for the new year of 2015. The health insurance carrier Arches has just announced that we are able to view plans and rates for 2015. This is great news.

Starting November 3rd, Arches will be reaching out to Individuals to let them know they can automatically renew their individual plan for 2015. In addition to these notices, Arches will let individuals know what their new monthly premium will be, and that if they do not do anything, their plan will automatically renew starting January 1, 2015.

For Individuals who did pick a plan through the Federal Facilitated Marketplace (Healthcare.gov), your plan will be automatically renewed and your new monthly premium will include your Premium Tax Credit from 2014.

We encourage all of our clients, whether you are with Arches or not, to give us a call so that we can review your Health Insurance Policy and determine if we need to change your Adjusted Gross Income for 2015 or update any other information.

If you are happy with the plan you have right now, you can choose to auto-renew your policy for 2015.
